Due to a very busy June schedule, we won’t have time to update Somerset website’s June blog (senior news, senior activities and events, photos and videos).
However, our June blogs are current and up-to-date at our Somerset Facebook site (Posts section) and our Somerset Google Places site (Updates section).
Please click a link above to view our June blog.
Note 1: In July, we will resume updating this Somerset website blog (and will continue updating our Somerset Facebook and Google blogs as always).
Note 2: Our Facebook blog is updated 1st (several times each month) and is our most current blog, followed by updating our Google blog when we have time, followed by updating this website blog if we have time.
Please call before visiting in May.
Thank you dedicated staff for your hard work, caring, and perseverance.
Thank you residents’ friends and families for your understanding and cooperation with our COVID prevention measures. As is the new normal, please call before visiting Somerset.
Since the situation can change, calling us before visiting is the best way to keep your senior friends and relatives safe, as well as the rest of our seniors and staff. So far our prevention measures are working. No one at Somerset has COVID.
If we continue our careful policy regarding no visitors (except for special circumstances with mask and temperature check) we hope to continue having healthy residents and staff. By being careful, we’ll all get through this.
Thank you to everyone – Somerset Administrators Mariisa Bond Jimenez and Eric Rosgen.
Please see video below of Washington State Congresswoman Cathy McMorris Rogers thanking Washington senior living facilities and staff for their dedication.

Our seniors love activities and games, such as playing hangman, wheel of fortune, bingo, and many other games.
In photo below, Denise (our senior activities director) is enjoying a game of hangman with our seniors while wearing her black desperado mask.

Our activities director Denise created a Wheel of Fortune style game. Residents call out letters to solve a phrase. If they solve the puzzle, they can spin the wheel for a prize.
Denise is doing her best Vana White robbing a bank impression.

The week of Easter Buck and Elizabeth came and played live music for our residents. They gave a concert from the front parking lot and another concert from the backyard so residents on both sides of the building could enjoy being serenade through their open windows.
Thank you Buck and Elizabeth. Our seniors and staff loved it! The neighbors enjoyed it too.
